Toowoomba & the Darling Downs

Concrete,
poured properly.

A small Toowoomba crew doing driveways, slabs, paths and patios across the Darling Downs and surrounds. The bloke who quotes your job is the bloke who pours it.

01 / Who you're dealing with

We're a small Toowoomba crew, not a big outfit that subs your job out and moves on. The person who quotes it is the person who pours it. That means a tidy site, straight clean edges and concrete that's built to last.

02 / Schedule of works

What we pour

From the driveway out front to the shed slab out back. If it's concrete, it's our patch.

  1. 01

    Driveways & crossovers

New driveways, replacements and crossovers. Plain, coloured or exposed aggregate, finished to handle the cars, the trailer and the Toowoomba weather.

A poured residential concrete driveway leading to a modern home
  2. 02

    House & shed slabs

Slabs for homes, sheds, garages and granny flats. Set out right, properly reinforced and poured level so whatever goes on top sits true.

A steel-reinforced concrete slab set out and ready to pour
  3. 03

    Paths & footpaths

Paths, footpaths and walkways that are safe underfoot and easy on the eye. Steps and ramps sorted too.

Fresh concrete being smoothed for a path
  4. 04

    Patios & alfresco

Outdoor entertaining areas, alfresco slabs and pool surrounds. The bit of concrete you actually sit on, so it gets finished nicely.

A finished outdoor concrete area beside a home
  5. 05

    Exposed aggregate & finishes

Exposed aggregate, coloured concrete and decorative finishes for when you want the concrete to look as good as it performs.

A power trowel giving fresh concrete a smooth finish
  6. 06

    Commercial & rural

Bigger pours for business and farm. Shed floors, hardstands, machinery pads and access work right across the Downs.

A larger structural concrete pour for commercial work

Not sure which one your job is? Give us a call and we'll sort it out with you.

03 / On the job

How a pour goes

No mystery to it. Here's what happens between the first phone call and a slab you can park on.

  1. 01

    Set out & form up

We mark it out, dig and set the formwork dead level.

  2. 02

    Steel & prep

Reinforcing mesh or bar goes in so the slab holds together.

  3. 03

    Pour & screed

Concrete goes in and gets screeded off to the right fall.

  4. 04

    Float & finish

Floated, trowelled or textured to the finish you picked.

  5. 05

    Cure & clean up

Left to cure properly and the site left clean. Job done.

Honestly, a call is easiest. But if you'd rather type it out, the form does the same thing.
